Considering the perfect state of Lindegaard in the training camp, Denmark coach Olsen decided to add this Manchester United FC (Man Utd) goalkeeper into the squad for UEFA EURO 2012.

Denmark coach Morten Olsen released the last two candidates enrolled in the 23-man squad list, they are defender Jores Okore and forward Nicklas Pedersen. Original goalkeeper Thomas Sørensen (Stoke City FC) was replaced by Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester City FC).
